Karrie Schell, CPA has been in public accounting since 1988. In 1990 she earned her Bachelors Degree in Accounting from Ferris State University and she became a Michigan licensed CPA in 1994. Karrie has extensive experience in small business accounting and tax preparation for a variety of family owned businesses in the Traverse City area. Karrie is a member of both the AICPA, the MICPA and the Traverse City Chamber of Commerce. In her spare time she enjoys following her kid’s activities and traveling.

Lori Hansen, Director of Operations, has been with our firm since 2017. She has a BA in Business Administration which she earned at Davenport University. She spends her free time with her husband and two sons at their home in Lake Ann, MI and she takes pleasure in trying new cuisines and wine tasting.

Daniel joined our firm in 2019. Before switching careers to Public Accounting, Dan was a manager in the local hospitality industry. Using his management background, Dan analyzes situations from both an operational and financial perspective to assist business owners in making their operations efficient and profitable. In his free time, Dan enjoys exploring Northern Michigan and the Upper Peninsula with his wife and dogs, and is also an avid home chef and wine enthusiast.

Korrie Bezemek has been a Staff Accountant for our firm since 2013. She is a graduate of both Grand Valley State University and Northwestern Michigan College holding degrees in Accounting and in Legal Studies. As a QuickBooks ProAdvisor, she can assist you in all QuickBooks programs and is certified in Desktop Advanced, Online Advanced, Enterprise, Point of Sale, and TSheets. Her free time is spent with her family, three grandchildren, and friends enjoying our Northern Michigan activities.

Alyson, a 2018 graduate from Michigan State University originally obtained her bachelor's degree in Psychology. After a major career shift, she began with the firm in 2019 while going back to school for Accounting. Alyson completed her Accounting program in 2021 and plans to continue working towards obtaining her CPA License. Alyson’s free time is spent keeping up with her two young children and dogs.
